Price list for the Howard Gem 1971.
The Howard Gem 20'' and 24'' model came with a Kohler K301T 477cc 10 hp petrol engine, the 20'' costing £365, whilst the 24'' model cost £375.
A Hatz Es 780 500cc 10 hp diesel engine was almost an extra £100 more
for both the 20'' and 24'' models or £507 would have bought you the 30'' Gem which also had the 10 hp Hatz engine.
As with the other Howard rotavators, a canvas cover was made for the Gem at an extra cost of £8.00.
